About The Chancellor's Leadership Academy

The Chancellor's Leadership Academy is a selective, intensive four-day program tailored for future community college leaders that addresses succession planning, transformation leadership styles, the value of community partners, leadership practices, ethics, diversity and the legislative process.The Academy allows emerging community college leaders to learn from and engage with scholars from community colleges across the United States. In addition, participants gain valuable knowledge and perspective by grappling with some of the most difficult issues facing community colleges today.

Dr. Kent Farnsworth, President Emeritus of Crowder College and Endowed Professor of Community College Leadership for the University of Missouri - St. Louis, will facilitate the four-day retreat. Participants will interact with national community college scholars to gain a broader understanding of key topics and issues facing leaders in community colleges. The goal of this academy is to develop up-and-coming leaders from within.

2015 Chancellor's Leadership Academy

The 2015 Chancellor's Leadership Academy will be held Tuesday, March 3 Friday, March 6, 2015 at Hilton Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri.

Registration Fee for Academy

The cost of the Academy is $1,500. The participation fee covers registration for the workshop, lodging at the Hilton Convention Center, meals, and workshop materials. Participants are responsible for travel to and from the Hilton.
