| Certified Nurse AssistantThis class meets the classroom and clinical requirements for Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to be a CNA. Nonrefundable fee for criminal background check and drug screening for the comprehensive class. Book required, $55.
These classes are appropriate for those new to the healthcare field.
Hybrid classes take place online and in the classroom approximately every 2 weeks. Upon completion of the class, student is eligible to take the final exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in the state of Missouri. The exam is $125. Requirements: 18 years of age; employable in a long-term care facility; stethoscope and watch (with a second hand); proof of rubella immunity/immunization, negative TB skin test performed with the previous six months, and a personal physician's statement that student is free from any contagious chronic illness. Completed Healthcare form and registration on the Family Care Safety Registry required before clinicals. These classes are appropriate for those currently employed in a long-term care facility.

Certified Medication Technician Program

| Certified Medication Technician This class prepares CNAs to become CMTs to work in long term care facilities. Meets the requirements of the MO DHSS. Final State Exam required ($125). Nonrefundable fee for random drug screen. Prerequisites: Successful completion of WDH 101 and WDH 569. Must have been employed as a CNA for 6 months, current CNA license, present a high school diploma or GED, a letter of recommendation from current or previous Director of Nursing, and pass the TABE test. Unemployed students have to have a criminal background. Hybrid classes are partially online, partially seated and open to all approved students who meet the requirements.

| Healthcare Math Revew Class is mandatory for CMT and Pharmacy Tech students. This class prepares students for the math portion of the entrance exams. Book included. Chapters 1 and 2 are to be completed before the first class.

| TABE Test Applicants for the CMT must take and pass the TABE test and Pharmacy Technician class must take and pass the Healthcare Math test. Some documents are required at registration for CMT

| Coding Certification Prep This preparatory class will sharpen coding skills and identify weakness in coding skills. By course end, students will be better prepared to sit for a National Coding Certification exam. Required book: Clinical Coding Workout by Ahima, ISBN 1584262419.
