Students discover the secrets of light!  Break light into its parts, and put them back together, learn about waves and colors, explore reflection, refraction and diffraction, and make your own multi-colored Sun Catchers using only three primary colors, make messages appear and disappear using colors and patterns that deceive the eye. Bring a sack lunch. Grades 1-6.

Learn basic rules, etiquette and instruction of beginning golf with an experienced instructor. Instructor Shawn Freeman is a PGA Class A member. Ages 9-14

Crazy Chemistry - In this workshop we investigate chemical reactions happening all around us every day, in the kitchen, the laundry, the garden, and even the walls! Young scientists will build crystals, make sidewalk chalk, bath fizzers and a chromatograph T-shirt, investigate water absorbing chemicals, and use chemical
reactions to make their own ice cream. Bring a sack lunch. Ages 6-12

For high school students, this class provides a valuable review of core components of the ACT test, as well as tips and techniques for testing well. Bring a sack lunch.

Basics of responsible child care and safety for new babysitters. Includes child/infant CPR certification. All materials provided. Ages 12+

Take apart computers to see how the hardware works, how to do simple upgrades, repair and optimization of computers. Students use various software and applications to enhance their knowledge. Bring a sack lunch. Ages 11-15.

Students will combine simple machines like pulleys and levers to create very complex machines such as robots. Bring a sack lunch. Ages 6-12.

Young engineers spend a full day of building and testing structures out of a variety of materials! Check out pyramids, arches, inflatable beams, test the strength of eggs, and build bridges and sky scrapers. Bring a sack lunch. Ages 6-12

Students learn to create game characters, work with animation and sound, create and modify behavior of objects in the digital world. Create multiple worlds and develop game scoring and scripting. Creation of an actual game is a final project. Bring a sack lunch. Ages 11-15.

Cake decorating made simple enough for young chefs AND one adult or friend of choice may attend too! Learn basic tips, figure piping, flowers, and more. We'll supply cupcakes to decorate at first class; bring an 8 inch baked cake for both student and guest. Icing and tools provided to use during class. Ages 10-15

Have a fun morning creating holiday ornaments and projects while parents get a morning out to finish up shopping.
