|BLS Healthcare Provider CPR
This American Heart Association course includes adult, child, and infant CPR, and mouth to mask ventilation, and AED training for healthcare providers. This class is appropriate for those working in the healthcare field only, and will not be suitable for those working in other professions. Upon successful completion, each participant will receive a BLS course completion card. Books will be provided if needed. Unless noted otherwise, classes are skills testing only, meaning you must complete an online portion prior to the start of class.

Print the certification of completion and then register for the hands-on skills portion of the class at OTC by going to http://www.otc.edu/workforce and selecting the "Register Online" button. You can for to the keyword field and enter "BLS" with no quotation marks and a list of options will appear.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association.
|Heartsaver AED CPR
This American Heart Association CPR course teaches the general public how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including: cardiac arrest, choking for adult, child and infant victims. This class is appropriate for anyone who wants to learn CPR, but is not in the healthcare industry. Learn the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in kids. Books will be provided to be used during class and are available for purchase at the Community Enrichment Center.
