CDL Training Program
The trucking industry needs qualified drivers! There are hundreds of job opening in the greater Springfield area with excellent opportunities for high earnings. Graduates have the potential to earn as much as $50,000 in the first year!
Topics covered include but are not limited to the following:
- Safe operation in moving traffic
- Shifting and double clutching
- Backing and docking
- Parallel parking
- Night driving
- Cargo documentation
- Lifestyle and finance
- Trip planning
Applicants must be 21 or older and be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical, drug screen, and background check. The registration and payment deadline is one week prior to the beginning of class. To find out about availability, contact the TTI at 417-447-8888.
CDL Program Details
- Five-week, 40-hours-per-week training program prepares participants to obtain a CDL permit, operate commercial trucks, and successfully complete the CDL exam.
- Part-time (offered at night and on weekends) program is available when at least three people are interested. Call TTI at 417-447-8888 to be added to this list.
This program will equip inidviduals with the skills required to succeed in the commercial truck driving industry.
