- Excellent opportunity for high earnings: as much as $50,000 in the first year
Program information:
- Five-week, 40 hours per week training program prepares participants for obtaining a CDL permit, operating commercial trucks, and successfully completing the CDL exam.
- Part-time [offered at night and on weekends] program available as soon as three people are interested. Call to be added to this list.
- This program will equip inidviduals with the skills required to succeed in the commercial truck driving industry.
Topics include but are not limited to:
- Safe operation in moving traffic
- Shifting and double clutching
- Backing and docking
- Parallel parking
- Night driving
- Cargo documentation
- Lifestyle and finance
- Trip planning
Program details:
- Must be 21 or older and be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical, drug screen, and background check
- Registration/payment deadline is one week before class begins
- Call for class availability
