Which user name and password do I use to log in for what MyOTC, a computer in a classroom or open computer lab, e-cashier, FAFSA, and Blackboard?

With all the online services offered by and connected to OTC, it gets confusing sometimes trying to remember where you log in to the various services, with which user name and password.

Use the same User name and password used for MyOTC.

e-Cashier

Formerly known as FACTS, e-Cashier is the vendor used by OTC to automate student tuition payments.

User ID: Your OTC ID number as shown on your student ID card (Example: 0123456)
Password: Your birthday with forward slashes (Example: 01/19/87)

FAFSA

Found on http://www.fafsa.ed.gov, the FAFSA web site offers information on how to sign up or renew your application. This is not done through OTC systems.

I forgot what I used for the password I created.

That's okay, it happens. There are different ways to go about having your password reset so that you can regain access to your accounts.

MyOTC Passwords

  1. Stop by the Student Help Desk, located in the atrium of the Information Commons building, the Information Technology Help Desk (IT Help Desk) , located in Graff Hall 206, or Student Services, located in the Information Commons West, with a photo ID.

  2. Call the Information Technology Help Desk, (417) 447-7548 during current operational hours.

  3. After hours, email helpdesk@otc.edu and the I.T. Help desk will respond to your request.

NOTE: For security reasons, only you will be able to reset your password. A parent, spouse, relative, etc., will not have the authority to call or stop by on your behalf to take care of account issues.

Blackboard/E-class Passwords

You may reset your own Blackboard password by following the instructions at OTC Online or in the MyOTC Online Help, FAQ.

Springfield Campus – Norton AntiVirus software by Symantec is available for purchase at the Cashier’s Office located on the second floor of the Information Commons building.

Lebanon – Norton AntiVirus software by Symantec is available for purchase at the reception desk as you enter the Lebanon Education Center.

Ozark – Norton AntiVirus software by Symantec is available for purchase at the main office window that is located to the right as you enter the Ozark Education Center in room number 113.

Branson – Norton AntiVirus software by Symantec is available for purchase at the reception desk as you enter the Branson Education Center.
