Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is an Honor Society for two-year colleges. In order to be invited to join you must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of any semester. Being a member of Phi Theta Kappa not only looks tremendous on your transcript, but it opens you up to over $30 million in scholarships that other students are not eligible for.

Our chapter competes with other Phi Theta Kappa chapters internationally on community and college-based projects, and has placed within the top 10 the last several years. We also host various fundraising events throughout the year, and are the prime supporters of the C4 Initiative (Community College Completion Corps) at OTC.

Our advisors are Steven and Jo Fritts, and each year we elect a new President, Vice President of Leadership, Vice President of Service, Vice President of Scholarship, and Vice President of Communications. These officers, along with participating chairpersons, make up our officer team and travel with us to Phi Theta Kappa events and conferences.
