Four Corners Native Association (FCNA)

Four Corners Native Association (FCNA)

Four Corners Native Association was initiated in April 2010 by students, staff, and community members from both OTC and Drury. FCNA seeks to provide educational activities, cultural values, and leadership opportunities which will enhance its members’ home and school communities.

FCNA seeks to share cultural heritage and help its members develop leadership skills through alliance and action with the Circle of Courage Philosophy in mind. The ‘Circle’ suggests the importance of the values of belonging, generosity, independence, and mastery.

By participating in FCNA general meetings, scheduled events, and field trips, each member of Four Corners Native Association will become taller. The organization is open to all OTC students, faculty, and staff as well as interested community members. FCNA provides a resource for those interested in American Indian Heritage and a network between the home, school, and community.

Current initiatives include:

  • Participation in SGA events
  • Community service projects
  • Participation in educational and/or community events which emphasize Native American Heritage
