Online Orientation Requirements and Instructions
You will need to following to complete the online orientation:
- Speakers
- Broadband connection is recommended for optimal viewing
Online Orientation Instructions
NOTE: You cannot fast forward or pause the video, so choose a time when you can view in its entirety. If you click your mouse on the viewing window, the video will restart at the beginning. Quizzes will automatically start after each video; however, a short delay is normal.
The orientation is comprised of 4 videos, which will take approximately 30 minutes to view in total. Please note that quizzes will be presented after each video segment to test your knowledge. Follow these steps and guidelines:
- Print the What's the Next Step checklist. It will be referenced during the presentation.
- Complete the orientation on your own. Your friends and family will not be attending OTC on your behalf and you will need to know the information that will be presented here.
- Take notes and/or write down questions to ask your advisor when you are on compus for your advising appointment.
- Once the orientation has been completed, fill out an online verification form with your personal information. You will need to have a valid email address and either your OTC student ID number or social security number.
