OTC to offer free citizenship classes

The OTC Adult Education and Literacy program will offer free citizenship classes beginning Sept. 9.

The free classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 8:30 p.m. on the OTC Springfield Campus in Graff Hall 121. The classes run through Oct. 23.

Orientation and enrollment will be held Sept. 9 and Sept. 11 during the class. Students may enroll during either class night. No enrollment will be allowed after Sept. 11.

Class topics will include general citizenship requirements and the process, U.S. history, U.S. government, sample citizenship test questions and sample citizenship interview questions.
