Coordinator of Public Information (417) 447-2659 logsdond@otc.eduThe standard-setting organization for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration education, HVAC Excellence, has granted Ozarks Technical Community College another six years of accreditation following a thorough program review.
HVAC Excellence reviewed documentation submitted by the College, visited the Springfield campus, interviewed students, instructors, administrators, and members of the program’s Advisory Committee, which is composed of community members currently in leadership in the HVACR industry. The program will undergo the accreditation review process again in 2016.
In its final review, the organization commended Ozarks Technical Community College’s HVACR program for its comprehensive training labs, its quality instructors, its stringent graduation requirements, and its excellent performance at state and national skills competitions.
