Early Start Student Checklist

Apply for Admission

Fill out the free application online.

Complete Orientation

Orientation will take approximately 15 minutes to watch the video. Learn more.

Take the Placement Test

Placement testing is currently required for English, math or science seated dual credit courses. Placement testing is required for ALL online dual credit courses.

Complete the Early Start Permission Form and Meet with an Advisor

Complete this form and stop by Student Services where you will be seen on a walk-in basis. Please indicate that you are an Early Start student and bring your photo ID and signed form with you.

Register for Classes

The earlier you register, the more choices you will have in class offerings and times.

Make Tuition Payment Arrangements - MyPay

Once the OTC has received and processed your registration form, you must make payment arrangements by the payment deadline. You will not be able to log in until your form has been processed.

  • Option 1: Pay your tuition in full by using Quikpay to make an immediate payment.
  • Option 2: Enroll in a My Payment Plan
    • MyPay - Monthly - Pre-authorized payments deducted monthly from your designated bank account or credit card.
    • MyPay - Delayed Payment - Your ONE payment will be delayed until later in the semester. This is the recommended option for students awarded financial aid. This option is only available once you have submitted your FAFSA and all other required documentation to the Financial Aid office.

Payment arrangements must be made every semester.
