Grants Development
The Grants Development department is responsible for providing assistance to faculty, staff, and administrators who are seeking external funding. Our office coordinates with grant seekers throughout the entire writing process, which includes the following:
- research
- editing
- submission
- management
In 2007, our department was instrumental in securing the 2nd largest grant at OTC for the new Richwood Valley Tornado Shelter. This shelter will provide a safe place for students and the surrounding Richwood Valley community to go during tornadic weather. We are proud to serve such a vital role in ensuring OTC continues its growth and mission to students and the community.
Recent Grant Awards
- Missouri Department of Economic Development (Training for Tomorrow) - $1.1 million for Allied Health, Center for Workforce Development, and Technical Education
- William T. Kemper Foundation/Commerce Foundation - $9,376 for Disability Support Services
- 3M Foundation - $2,000 for the Math Department and the Tutoring and Learning Center
- Extron Global Viewer Enterprise Grant - $10,000 for Media Services
