Education
The Associate of Arts in Teaching will transfer directly and seamlessly into most baccalaureate Teacher Education Certification degrees in Missouri. Students interested in this track should complete the 43-hour Genral Education Block, the courses in the education emphasis, and additional requirements within their content area of teaching.
There are over twenty specialties within Teacher Education. Each four-year college or university has unique requirements, so students should receive advising for their specific degree plan at both OTC and the receiving four-year college or university.

Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice courses provide a foundation and preparation for students to continue on to a higher level degree in criminal justice or other associated social science, legal, and political science areas.
OTC has an articulation agreement with Missouri Southern State University, which allows students completing the Associate of Arts (AA) degree with an emphasis in Criminal Justice direct admission into any of their Criminal Justice majors. Other area 4-year institutions also accept for transfer the OTC Criminal Justice coursework.
Psychology
The Psychology courses partial fulfill the requirements within the college’s General Education coursework as well as help to develop academic abilities that will serve in many different career and academic paths, including preparing a student for upper division coursework at a four-year, transfer institution.
