The Fitness Center

The OTC Fitness Center provides students with a safe and clean environment to exercise and workout where students can exercise on well-maintained equipment. We provide competent supervision designed to help students reach their health-related goals on the way to creating a healthy lifestyle.

The Fitness Center is located in ICW 115 and is free of charge to all currently enrolled students.  The center is equipped with many accessories in addition to a full circuit of the following:

  • Nautilus strength machines
  • Treadmills
  • Ellipticals
  • Bikes
  • Step-machines
  • Rowing machines
  • Free weights

The center also has a broadcast vision system of 5 TVs, which allows students to watch and listen as they workout.

The Fitness Center allows students to be proactive in creating a healthier future while attending Ozarks Technical Community College. It is a great place to meet new people and get healthy!

Fall 2011 Zumba, Pilates, and Cardio Tone Schedule

Pilates

When:  Mon. and Wed.
Time:  12:00 – 12:45
Location:  Main Campus, Lincoln 211*
Cost:  Free to OTC Students, Faculty, and Staff
What is Pilates?  Pilates is a core building exercise that improves flexibility and agility.  Stability balls and resistance bands will be used in class for total body exercises.

Zumba

When:  Mon. and Wed.
Time:  5:15pm – 6:00pm
Location:  Main Campus, Lincoln 211*
Cost:  Free to OTC Students, Faculty, and Staff
What is Zumba? Zumba fuses Latin rhythms and easy to follow dance moves, creating a fun and easy workout.

Cardio and Tone

When:  Tues. and Thurs.
Time:  12:00 – 12:45
Location: Main Campus, Lincoln 211*
Cost:  Free to OTC Students, Faculty, and Staff
What is Cardio and Tone?  Using interval, circuit training exercises to increase heart rate for cardio and resistance exercises to tone – this workout is for anyone.  This class will contain some outside exercises.
