Continue Loan Application Process

Mandatory Loan Counseling Requirement for ALL borrowers

*The last day to attend entrance counseling for summer 2010 is June 18th.

In order to help students better understand the student loan program, the application process and the obligation of receiving a student loan, the college requires ALL students applying for a Federal Stafford Student Loan to complete a student loan entrance counseling session before a loan application can be completed.  Whether you are a student returning to OTC and have had student loans before or a new student at OTC planning to apply for a student loans, this session is required and will help you to gain greater insight to managing your student loans and to help keep you on the right track.

The loan counseling sessions are done in a classroom format on each of the campuses in Springfield, Branson, Richwood Valley (Ozark/Nixa), Lebanon and Waynesville using a predetermined schedule that you will find on the college’s website as instructed below.

To sign up for loan counseling, click on the appropriate link below the "Sign up for Loan Counseling Session."  Please note that you must complete the in person (group) loan counseling session before you will be allowed to continue with the loan application process.

Loan Application Availability

Following completion of the loan counseling, each student will be sent a message via their MyOTC email account.  The message will include the links required to complete the loan application process online.  Your loan application will be processed following receipt of the application and all required items to complete your student aid file.
