To assist the Faculty Maintenance Technician in the performance of his/her daily duties, by providing non-skilled labor. Performs under the delegated authority of the Director of Facilities and Grounds

Requirements
Skills/Abilities:
1. Assists in scheduling all maintenance requests and advises the Director of Facilities and Grounds of the completed work.
2. Completes college service and maintenance jobs as needed or as assigned.
3. Conducts a planned program of preventative maintenance.
4. Lists the equipment and supplies required for operations and emergency situations.
5. Reports and corrects safety hazards.
6. Assists in maintenance activities to provide continuous supply of electrical power, heat and air conditioning required for plant operations.
7. Attends in-service programs to improve work performance.
8. Change ceiling tile.
9. Re-Paint areas as assigned.
10. Makes drywall patches as needed.
11. Moving furniture on request.
12. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
