Position Description:

Description & Responsibilities:

  • Will provide assistance to staff, faculty, students, and others with basic software, online course, or other technology-based needs.
  • Will provide customer service to guests and others who visit the office, answer phones, and perform other office-related duties as assigned.
  • Must be proficient with Blackboard online courses; will assist with Blackboard and online learning inquiries and tasks.
  • Must have some knowledge of online learning and OTC online course processes and procedures.

Requirements

Skills/Abilities:

Work Experience:

  • Experience working with general office duties required.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience answering professional phone calls desirable.
  • Experience with Adobe products, audio and video capturing/editing software a plus, but not required.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one semester of credit courses taken at OTC required.
  • Must have taken at least one online course at the college or university level.
