Position Description

Position Title: Adjunct - Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

Salary Classification: Exempt

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:The instructor will be responsible for the instruction and management of assigned class and labs; will maintain professionalism within specialized field.

Authority:

Authority: Reports to, and is under the direct supervision of, the Department Chair.

Duties:

Duties:

  1. Provides quality instruction which is current, accurate, interesting and up-to-date.   
  2. Maintains a minimum contact hour teaching assignment as provided by the department.   
  3. In accordance with approved course abstract and procedures, develops/utilizes the course syllabus for the class taught and provides a copy to students and the department chair at the beginning of the semester.    
  4. Maintains discipline and decorum in the classroom/lab.     
  5. Maintains appropriate record keeping for assigned classes, to include an individual class roll book, including grades and attendance.     
  6. Submits midterm and final grades.
