Requirements
Skills/Abilities:
We need someone who is responsible, mature, effective at working with people, and willing to learn. The successful candidate will need to be trained in customer service, entering data in an excel spreadsheet, a variety of paperwork duties, and the Tutor Track program we use for tracking our clients. This is a critically important position in the success of the Writing Center and Speech Center, and we are happy to take the time and effort to train a person with a mindset of customer service and teamwork. But it must be a person we can depend upon. That person will find this a valuable experience in his/her education and work experience for the future. Experience in the restaurant business, retail, any customer service business would probably serve the candidate well, though that isn’t strictly required.

Education:
There are no degree requirements. A person with basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills can be trained to do what we need. The most important quality is a desire to work for excellent performance and a willingness to chip in and do whatever needs to be done.
