Title:
Description & Responsibilities:
1. Provides customer service and helps to maintain an orderly and attractive sales floor by stocking, folding, sizing, straightening, organizing, condensing, resetting, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, assisting customers with selections and finding merchandise, and answering questions about textbooks, clothing, gifts, or souvenirs for customers.
2. Assist managers in the Textbook Reservation Program by: pulling customer orders, ringing up books, bagging and shelving book orders, double checking the pulled orders for customer satisfaction
3. Remains knowledgeable about bookstore policies, procedures, and operations, and responding to customer complaints, store emergencies, and disruption of services.
4. Helps to ensure the success of the Bookstore by performing all other duties as assigned.
5. *This position is temporary and will only last through the months of December and January.

Requirements
Skills/Abilities:
Work Experience:
Skills in oral and written communication, the ability to make basic mathematical calculations, the ability to understand and follow instructions, knowledge of office or other work procedures, and the ability to work independently are required.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required and computer literacy is required.
Light to heavy lifting from 25-50lbs.
Education:
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required and computer literacy is required.
