Description & Responsibilities:
1. The student assistant conducts him or herself in a professional manner and in accordance with OTC policies.
2. The student completes general clerical work such as filing and copying and occasional data entry
3. Assists with taking phone messages.
4. Prepare new student folders and bags
5. Assists with Orientation set-up and break down
6. Makes photo id cards for students
7. Assists other areas of RVC first floor staff as needed.
8. The student assistant responds to and accepts supervision of any RVC staff members.
9. The student assistant keeps his/her supervisors informed of any schedule conflicts (giving a minimum of two day notice if at all possible).
10. The student assistant is punctual in filling his/her assigned scheduled
11. Keep and maintain all Selective Admissions Packages.
12. Copy and keep all programs “Block Diagrams”, Financial Aid Information, Admissions Applications, and Placement Testing Resources filled.
13. Work with students in the computer kiosk area; assisting them in accessing admissions application, MyOTC accounts, Access OTC, Blackboard, etc.
14. Put away any materials and place in proper storage area.
15. Clean and wipe down area.
16. Other duties as assigned.
