Tuition Assistance

Payment Plan

1. Student pays a one-time administrative fee of $35 to participate in the payment plan.
2. Student pays 50% of the course fee or program fee plus the $35 sign-up fee at the time s/he registers to take a class.
3. The balance of the course or program fee will be collected automatically from the student’s checking account or credit card (student choice) on a monthly basis.  Number of payments depends upon the length of the class.
4. Failure to have adequate funds in the account will result in a service fee of up to $30 per incident and will be added on to the balance due for that pay period.
5. Student must provide debit/credit card with account numbers to sign up for the payment plan.
6. A promissory note is signed at the time of registration and must be witnessed by a Continuing Education staff member.
7. Failure to complete the class or program will not void the payment plan transaction. All payments will be collected for the tuition.
8. Refund policy:

a. If a class is cancelled by the college for any reason, we will be happy to provide a full refund of the course tuition to all students.

b. OTC reserves the right to change location of the class, instructor for the class and date of class when necessary. If date change presents a significant difficulty for the student, we will be happy to consider a refund of fees upon written request. Unfortunately, any other change such as location and/or instructor cannot result in a refund.

c. If the student wishes to drop, withdraw or discontinue in the class or program, please contact the Continuing Education Center a minimum of  3 business days prior to the start date of the class and we will be happy to provide a refund, less a $20 drop/withdrawal/change fee.  Unfortunately, the $30 sign up fee is nonrefundable and will not be part of the refund.  If students wish to change to another section of the same class, and the request for the change falls within the refund deadline timeframe, we will be happy to move you free of charge.

d. Because of program preparation and purchase of supplies/materials, there are a few programs for which we cannot provide refunds unless the program is cancelled by OTC. These include: Motorcycle Safety Courses, Kids College Horseback Riding Programs, and Cooking Classes.
