GED Transition Scholarship
Students who have earned a GED are eligible to take a three (3) hour college credit class, tuition-free, at Ozarks Technical Community College. Tuition for the course will be paid for by OTC. In order for a student to qualify for the incentive, a student must have completed the GED test within the past twelve (12) months and it must be his or her first time attending any college. Fees and books associated with the class are the responsibility of the student.
Interested students will be required to submit a copy of their GED scores along with a completed copy of the OTC Institutional Scholarship application. There is not an application deadline for the GED Transition Scholarship, however, a student must apply for and use the incentive during their first semester of enrollment at Ozarks Technical Community College.
